Taos Ski Valley Ranks Among the Best in Ski Magazine

People who ski Taos Ski Valley know what a great mountain it is, and once again this year SKI Magazine agrees. For the second year in a row Taos Ski Valley is ranked number 27th in North America by SKI�s readers.

The rankings are based on the resort's overall standing as determined by SKI readers who rank each area in 16 categories from scenery to dining. No one who has ever skied in Taos Ski Valley is surprised by the categories in which it earned gold medals: terrain, challenge, weather, and value. "We are really excited about the gold medal in the Value category" says Gordon Briner, General Manager. "Last year was the first time we were ranked in that category and it is one we are striving to do well in."

Aside from its four gold medals and high overall ranking, Taos Ski Valley also earned silver medals in service, snow and scenery. Another SKI reader comments that Taos Ski Valley has "excellent sunny weather" and the "friendliest staff anywhere."
