Now that it is officially summer and therefore really hot, are you starting to dream about skiing but are feeling overwhelmed by the thought of how much it will cost to get your entire family on the slopes? Taos Ski Valley has just discounted their Family Pass $600, so there is no excuse not to get everyone in the house skiing this winter! For just $1800 two adults and their immediate family members under the age of 18 can ski an unlimited number of days with no blackout days. There is no deadline on buying the pass, but only a limited number will be sold, so do a head count now and come on up.
If you just want to ski alone or with your partner the Millennium Pass is on sale until September 15th. The Millennium Pass is good for 70 days of skiing with only a few blackout days* and is only $425. Skiers who are locals at heart but don�t live near enough to run up to Taos Ski Valley to buy the pass can download the forms off the Taos Ski Valley web site at skitaos.org and mail them in before September 15th, then take their pass pictures the first time they ski.
For die-hards who want to ski more than 70 days, the Full Pass is just $625 until September 15th and for $825 thereafter. It is good for every day of the season, so you can ski until you drop.
If purchasing a pass is not for you, Taos Ski Valley is continuing to offer the Taos Card, the direct-to-lift pass that charges your credit card only when it is used. With the Taos Card you save $10 every time you ski and every seventh day of skiing is free.** Taos Card holders also receive discounts throughout the valley when they present their card.
So whether you come on your own, bring the whole family, spend ten days or one hundred and ten, Taos Ski Valley has the perfect pass for you.
*The blackout dates on Millennium Passes are: 12/27-12/31/03, 2/14&15/04 and 3/15-3/17/04. The Full Pass has no blackout dates.
