TAOS' TERRAIN PARK IS OUT TO LAUNCH

Over the last month Taos Ski Valley held an online competition to get a name for its Terrain Park. Seventeen hundred people logged on to skitaos.org/comp and entered names from creative (G/ernie Park), to personal (Joe). After much discussion among the Taos staff the names were narrowed down to six finalists: Dysfunction Junction, Terrain-o-soaras, Twisted Schnitzel, Out to Launch, and The Boneyard. Again the public logged on over a two day period to vote for their favorite. And the winner is: OUT TO LAUNCH, submitted by Hanna Levitz of Arroyo Hondo, NM. Hanna will receive a pair of Salomon 1080 skis donated by Rik Andresen of Salomon North America who also sponsors free demos every weekend in the Terrain Park. Thanks to everyone who logged on.
