TSV TO OPEN ON SCHEDULE

Taos received several inches of new snow overnight and had sufficiently cold temperatures to allow snowmaking to progress over the weekend. This positive news led Gordon Briner, General Manager of Taos Ski Valley, to confirm that Taos Ski Valley will open for skiing, as scheduled, on November 25, 2004.

Taos will open on a limited basis with lifts 1, 3 and the Rueggli. Skiable terrain will include Whitefeather, Powderhorn and the beginner�s area. Tickets will be $40 for Thanksgiving weekend. And Taos� famous Half Price Sale will begin on the November 29 through December 17, 2004.

There are lots of fun activities scheduled for opening weekend, including a party with Y-Que in the Martini Tree from 4:30-8:00 PM on Saturday the November 26. As well as, a Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer and Football Party on Sunday, November 28.
