TAOS EXTENDS SEASON FOR 1 WEEK

Taos Ski Valley President Mickey Blake announced this morning that, for the first time ever, Taos will extend its season for an additional week. The new closing date is April 10th. Outstanding snowfall, over 220 inches this season, contributed to the decision. �Taos has not seen snowfall in this quantity for over 5 years and the skiing is so good it seemed like pushing the closing date back would allow everyone to enjoy the mountain for a little longer,� says Adriana Blake, Marketing Manager.

From April 4th through closing day on the 10th every ticket will be just $30. During the final week chairs 1, 2 and the Rueggli will operate. Terrain openings will depend on conditions so log on to skitaos.org for updates as the date approaches.

The base at Taos Ski Valley is currently over 100 inches deep and the entire mountain is open. So don�t wait, come get your turns in now.
