When it comes to great value Taos has it.

GREAT VALUES + GREAT SKIING = TAOS SKI VALLEY This is the mountain you know and love. And now you have more ways to save when you ski Taos during the 2005-2006 season. The Millennium Pass, Taos Card, Taos Half-Price Sale with lift tickets, lodging, rentals and ski school all half price, in addition to the regular season lift ticket rates of $57 for adults, $45 for teens, $35 for children and $43 for seniors, give you the best values in skiing.

Ski for less than $7 a day? That's what you would end up paying if you skied all the days you could with the $500 Adult Millennium Pass and $300 Children's Millennium Pass, on sale through Oct. 1. It gives you 70 days of skiing at Taos, in addition to three days each at Crested Butte, Telluride and Durango/Purgatory. That's $6.40 per day for 79 days of skiing.

Ski FREE with the Taos Card*, a direct-to-lift pass that saves you $10 on full-day lift tickets (excluding the Half-Price Sale), and after six days of paid skiing you get the seventh day FREE. The Taos Card also entitles you to $20 off at the Kinderkafig Children's Center Friday, Saturday and Sunday and a 15% discount at Rhoda's Restaurant.

Bargain hunters will not want to miss Taos' Half-Price Sale Nov. 28 - Dec. 16, 2005 and March 26 - April 2, 2006. As the name suggests, lift tickets, lodging, ski school and rentals are half-price during those weeks. In Taos Ski Valley that equates to $62 per person per day for three day lifts and three nights lodging based on double occupancy. While in town, savings are even greater, as the same package is $44 per person per day, based on double occupancy.

And for those who have thoughts of conquering the mountain, the Ernie Blake Ski School, consistently voted as one of the top ski schools in North America, offers exceptional values. Ski Weeks run weekly Sunday through Friday with two hours of instruction each morning with video analysis and tech talk after the slopes closes. Normally priced at $200 per week (lessons only) Ski Weeks are further discounted to just $100 during the Half-Price Sale and $50 during the 50th Anniversary Ski Weeks Specials: Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Just beginning? Don't be intimidated by Taos' reputation of "steep and deep". There are more beginner and intermediate terrain than any other ski resort in New Mexico. The Yellowbird Beginner's Package gives first-time skiers a full day of instruction, novice lift ticket and ski rentals for only $75. A two-day package is only $110. The Yellowbird Guarantee is that beginners who have completed the two-day Yellowbird program will be able to ski Whitefeather from the top of Lift 1 or we will give you free lessons until you can. Once you've graduated from the Yellowbirds you can move up to the Bluebird Package, which includes lessons, rentals and lift ticket for just $80. Seniors at Taos, ages 70-79, pay $70 for a season's pass and those 80+ (with valid identification) as well as children six and under are free.

Show your 2005-2006 season's pass from any other resort and receive $10 off your lift ticket at Taos. This offer invalid during the Half-Price Sale.

*For new Taos Card accounts a $35 fee will be charged to the credit card you give for this account (through Dec. 16, 2005 and $50 thereafter). Reactivation of a Taos Card is only $20. The Taos Card discount is not valid during Taos Half-Price Sale.
