New Snow and Salomon Freeride Championship Guarantee a Great Time in Taos
With more than 130 of snowfall so far this season the mountain is filling in, the kegs are being stockpiled and anticipation is rising as the countdown begins for the 2007 Salomon Extreme Freeride Championships at Taos.
This year the weather is cooperating, says Chief of Race, Tom Winter. The mountain already has approximately 60 inches of base, its snowing and we are stoked!
With over 100 athletes from Canada, Utah, California, Colorado and, of course, New Mexico, expected to converge on Taos from February 28 through March 3, 2007, this is the biggest event in the state.
The hospitality and terrain are unequalled, adds Winter. Its a unique combination that, when you add some of skiings best freeriders into the mix, makes for a truly world class event.
